If you’re given the opportunity to run your own IMO business, we expect that you will:
- Give fast, consistent service and excellent value for money
- Educate customers about the safety and effectiveness of the IMO car wash
- Ensure the business operates to its full potential
- Deliver exceptional customer service to exceed expectations
What You Must be to Run Your Own IMO Business
This is what we expect of the special people who run our IMO car washes. You must be in a position to meet the upfront financial requirements (listed below).
- You must be physically fit
- You like working outdoors
- You are local to the site
- You are determined to make this business a success
- You are willing to learn and are prepared to work hard to achieve our high standards
- You are prepared to work within the IMO business model
- You believe in exceeding customers expectations
- You are self motivated
- You want to be an owner operator, and see IMO as a means of building a business, not just as a job
- You are willing to go through our selection process.
You Will Be Responsible For
Providing the following:
- Initial cash bond of $6000 refundable upon departure.
- Your ABN registration at a nominal cost.
- Purchase, installation and maintenance of high pressure pre-washing equipment.
- All detailing costs such as materials, equipment and advertising.
- Third party liability insurance.
- Workers compensation.
- All staffing costs.
- Telephone call charges.
- Refer to the appendix for more detail on the cost verses your earning potential.
Options to Manage Set Up Costs
- Mandatory upfront costs are your bond and ABN registration.
- If you would like, IMO will provide you access to a team of experienced finance professionals who can arrange equipment finance if you prefer monthly lease payments instead of an upfront capital cost of approximately $5,000. Click here to download the Finance Application Form (PDF)
- IMO can top up your income if necessary during your start up phase.
The Hours You Must Operate Your IMO Business
This may vary from site to site, however, you must ensure the site opens for business typically 7-days a week, from 7.am - 7.pm
