Environmentally Friendly:  Recycling up to 80% of water: IMO Car Wash have been recycling water in their car wash sites for more than 40 years in Europe and can use as little as 25 litres per wash which is the equivalent of a 1 minute home shower or two toilet flushes.

Perfected Over 35 Years

The IMO car wash system has been perfected over 35 years and has been specifically designed to allow our Operators to load cars faster and more professionally than our competitors. The speed and wash quality provide the customer with exceptional value for money.

IMO's system uses different brush technologies to meet customer requirements, ensuring a soft wash that doesn’t scratch the car. At various stages on the conveyor, different washing applications occur.

The wash process is significantly quicker than that of traditional 'roll-over car washes' found on many petrol stations. In this process, a customer is forced to leave the vehicle, buy a token or be given a code, parks the vehicle in the wash and then sits stationary in the vehicle whilst the machine then makes a series of passes over the vehicle, each pass performing a separate application which can take up to three times longer than a standard IMO wash.  

The conveyor system allows up to four cars to move through the wash tunnel at any given time enabling the traffic to move continuously through the site and reduce wait time.  

Upon entering an IMO car wash the consumer drives up to the entrance, remains in the car, and simply selects their chosen program from a priced menu board. The menu board is positioned at the point of entry like a drive-thru menu and displays a series of wash programs and pricing to choose from.

Once a wash selection is made the customer drives up to the pre-wash pad and pays the Operator all whilst remaining in the comfort of their car - no fiddly tokens required.

The Operator pre-washes the vehicle using high-pressure hoses and soft brushes to remove any surface dirt and grit.  This is an important point of difference and sets the IMO Car Wash offer apart from most competition such as petrol ‘roll-overs’.

The vehicle is then directed on to the conveyor track, and pulled through the wash tunnel in a process lasting approximately 2.5 minutes.
